clean, beautiful food.

Did you know that 5,000 crocus are required to produce one ounce of saffron spice? Or that there's no such fish as a sardine, and that the term refers to pilchards, sprats and small Atlantic herring caught around the island of Sardinia? If you’re a foodie, facts like these may thrill you to no end.

At The Healthy Gourmet, this is what I do. I study food—its nutritional value, its history, its many charming nuances and glorious contradictions. I cook it, write about it, formulate recipes from it, and generally obsess about it in the healthiest possible way.

I offer the Inspired Eating program, a food coaching plan that will help you understand your relationship with food; Inspired Eating is less about what to eat and more about why you eat.

I also teach a limited number of classes to small groups. In them, we'll talk about how to choose the cleanest food, and how to make it beautiful.

We also offer catering for small groups. And we have personal chefs who can come to your home and work their magic in your very own kitchen; they'll make a meal for a family of four, or a romantic dinner a deux.

In fact, if it has anything to do with food, we can do it. Deliciously. Call us at The Healthy Gourmet, 303-588-8523, or contact me personally at Lisa@TheHealthyGourmet.net for more details.
